This week we brought some of our favorite family dishes to the menu. Since it's been cold and wet we have two soups planned this week. The Tortilla Soup recipe is great for busy nights since it's also a recipe that works really well in the crockpot. Throw the ingredients in the crockpot in the morning, set to low and you'll have a delicious dinner waiting for you when you get home.

The kids have been asking for more salads lately, I think to account for the carb kick we had a couple of weeks ago. You'll love the tangy vegetarian Caesar salad dressing that's part of that dish, it's SO good when it soaks into the croutons.

Some of the recipes are lots of steps this week-don't be scared! Almost everything except for the roasted veggies and baked potato bar come together in about 30 minutes and are perfect for weeknights when you have eight directions to go in at once.
