Need a yummy breakfast to feed a crew and want something that's easy to make ahead? This apple cider granola is just the thing! Sweet, a little salty and oh so yummy with the flavors of apple cider and spices - this will be a crowd favorite. We made some to take up camping and served with a bit of almond milk, but it's also delicious over yogurt & fruit or eaten by the handful. No judgement here. Granola is also great for gifting! Whip up a batch or two, package in cute bags and share with those lucky enough to recieve homemade goodies!

6 cups Rolled Oats
2 cups unsweetened Coconut Shreds (se like Bob's Red Mill)
2 cups Walnuts, roughly chopped
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
3/4 cup Apple Cider Syrup (recipe here) or Maple Syrup
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1 1/2 tsp Salt
3 cups Dried Apples (optional)

The Method

Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Combine rolled oats, coconut shreds, and walnuts. Stir until mixed well. Add the sugar, apple cider syrup), vegetable oil and salt. Mix until the dry ingredients are well coated. Spread evenly on a baking sheet.


Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. This will ensure that the granola doesn't burn and gets crispy throughout.


Sprinkle dried fruit evenly over each baking sheet, mix until evenly distributed. Transfer to a storage container or bags for gifting and enjoy!
